It has been years back since the last flash flood in Kuching, I remember sometime during Chinese New Year (stuck at home, no CNY visitings...) And now, it's back, two weeks before Chinese New Year. There'll be King Tide from now and will last for the next one week and if the non-stop heavy rain is not stopping anytime soon, it's flooding time again~! That means, no way of getting out from home, coz every road that leads out from home is flooded (not to mention that I'm staying very close to Sungai Maong), all roads are not accessible. (O.O) Deng~
Whenever there's an opportunity to drive out to town, it's time for food stock ups. But, looking at the weather and the amount of rain that is pouring every second, hmm...
...this reminds me of the time back when I was in Primary 3. Our old neighbourhood was trapped due to the massive flood. And the next day, upon returning to school, everything was underneath a thick layer of mud and we were told that the water level was until the top of our tables. We had the whole morning cleaning up our classes. And whenever it rains heavily, we had to take our shoes off and walk into our classes...
Well, now we just have to pray for the rain to stop.
