Part 5: Faith

...the Faith stone...

We are all carrying, in our hearts
a treasure of faith, rich, good treasure
which cannot be taken, not like ephemeral goods,
this treasure is written on our hearts,
the good news and testimony,
gifts of God, our Savior, and the faithful,
who have come before us.
A legacy of love and hope,
for us all; a living treasure of faith,
enabling us to live our faith each day.

Part 4: Love

...the Love stone...

If there's one face I want to see, so beautiful, so true,
one smile that makes a difference, to everything I do.
If there's one touch I long to feel,
one voice I long to hear,
wherenever I am happy or just needing someone near.
If there's one joy, one love, from which I never want to part,
it's you, my very special love,
my world, my life, my heart.

Part 3: Trust

...the Trust stone...

Trust is a light that shines in your eyes,
bright and flickering as a candle in the breeze.
Trust is the brown sparkles shone through all,
like stars at nightfall.
Trust is when you cheer me and keep me laughing through tears,
better then anyone.
Trust is making everything I fell with you,
Everyday in love.
Always.

Part 2: Peace

...the peace stone...

To find peace one must be at peace with themselves.
To find peace there should be no conflict that can involves violence.
To find peace there should always be a solution to solve a problem.
To find peace there should always be kindness.
To find peace one must desire peace.
To have peace in the world one must strive hard in order to achieve peace.
With peace there should be no more violence, anger, hatred, war, families torn apart, and anguish.
With eace there will be unity, families are together, love is in the air, happiness is all around the world, and in our hearts as well.

Mum & Dad Holiday in West Malaysia

...taken at Kek Lok Si Temple, Penang...

Date: 19th - 23rd August 2010
Mum and Dad arrived in the afternoon of August 19 and first we had a good feast from the Bazaar Ramadan next door. The next day, we went for shopping around Mid Valley and Bukit Bintang to hunt for Aaron's list of things to buy. Mum cooked Minced Pork and Chicken Pepperoni Spaghetti for dinner that night. The next day, we drove up to Ipoh to have Foh Sun Dim Sum for breakfast, Egg Tart for tea and a trip to Sam Poh Tong before driving up to Penang for the weekend.

Though it was a short trip, but it was FUN!

Til another 5 months to see my parents again...

Kueh Chap!

Was having a good dinner last night when my parents flew in from Kuching, bringing a packet of Kueh Chap and Kolo Mee. Heated the soup before eating makes it feel like I was having it in Kuching itself~

...Yum Yum...

Part 1: Dream

...dream stone...

A dream is something that's completely you.
A dream is something for you to do.
A dream is something to try and strive for.
A dream is something that could be more.
A dream is something you can do anytime.
A dream is something that doesn't have to rhyme.
A dream is something that comes from above.
A dream is something about peace, hope or even love.
A dream is something that you don't have to share.
A dream is something that you can tell anywhere.
A dream is something that is totally true.
...but only if you want it to.

Garam the Movie...its Salt

If you are a fan of Angelina Jolie then you won't be complaining much about her latest movie - Salt. As expected, it was almost like her previous movie - Wanted - but at least this one is more convincing and not too 'over-the-top' action pack show. Seeing her in blonde and black hair...it's not pretty. She looked rather old in those hair colours. And, seeing her in a man's look is hilarious!

Best part about the movie is...it's like Die Hard, but the female version. She never dies or gets hurt after jumping from car to car, beaten up like mad, jumped down from a helicopter to a lake, shot at, etc.

The ending was rather sudden and to be honest, I hate the ending! Haih~ The whole movie was rather confusing (much confusing than Inception) and although it wasn't that great, it was worth watching while munching over a Original Ninja Pork Burger *yum*

Ice Cream, Anyone?

...the production team and casts for 'Inilah Cinta'...

It was a 10 days shoot for a 5 minute TV Drama. I went and help out for a couple of days in Art Department and a bit here and there in production. Though it was a very tiring shoot, but it all ends well on 15th August 2010 in the last location in Multimedia University.

Awaiting for the show on air!

Friday the 13th

Perseids Meteor Shower

Perseids Meteor Shower

The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at their peak. This year's shower should peak on the night of August 12 and the morning of the 13th, but you may be able to see some meteors any time from July 23 - August 22. The radiant point for this shower will be in the constellation Perseus. The thin, crescent moon will be out of the way early, setting the stage for a potentially spectacular show. For best viewing, look to the northeast after midnight.

...I actually woke up at 12.30am and went to my 16th floor balcony to have a look at the night skies. But, the moment I see the dark clouds on top of my head with bright city lights lighting up the skies, I knew I will not be able to see anything from there. I stood at the balcony for 10 minutes and later went back to sleep...

Cornetto Shoot

Was helping out the Cornetto team on their TV Drama shoot last weekend and this week as well. This time I wasn't helping in production but in Art Department!...and it was FUN! It was a lot of physical work but it's all worth the sweats and pain after seeing the results.

First day on shoot was on Friday, 6th August where I got a call from Lynn to help them get something from the office and to buy some props. So, I drove to set in Titiwangsa after lunch to help them up in proping the kiosk.

Day two on set was on Sunday, 8th August at SS2 where Angie and I went back to office to search for more props and then to Giant Kelana Jaya to buy props and then to Titiwangsa to measure the area and then to IKEA to get more. It was a whole day on the road but a fruitful one before the moving of props into the van and back to office.

Day three was in Titiwangsa again early on 9th August. It was an empty place and within 3 hours, we set it all up into 3 different kioks selling ice cream, gifts and clothes. It was a great team effort from everyone to setup the place, not to mention all the jokes and laughter we had along the way.

...group photo at the kioks...

Day four on set was on Wednesday, 11th August where we reset the kioks again for a one day shoot. It was later in the afternoon that I came back to set to dismantled everything and brought it back to the office. Phew~! It was a tiring day indeed.

Another few more days to go to the end of this shoot. Awaiting the Saturday and Sunday shoot...

Alison's Wedding Dinner

Date: 7th August 2010 (Saturday)
Venue: Shark Fin's House

It was a shocking news when Alison FB'ed me and invited me to her wedding dinner. It was about 2 months ago... and there, after not meeting up for 3 years (since we left for Internship in College), we met up once again in Alison's Wedding Dinner. It was great to see Ally and her newly-wedded husband and Fish.

..Ally and her husband...

...Ally in her beautiful wedding dress...

CONGRATULATIONS ALLY!
...we really should go for coffee sometime soon...

Movie Marathon @ Angie's

It was a Saturday. It was gym day and later a swimming session at Angie's place before homecook/fast food dinner with DVDs to watch.

1st movie: My Name Is Khan
It was a very long movie, but a very touching one. I missed this movie in the cinema when it first came out. The flow of the movie is just amazing as it portrays the events that happens throughout the years of Khan's life. This movie made me teared...

2nd movie: Precious
This movie won several awards and though the storyline was a little confusing (I thought) and a little here and there, it was very touching as well. At first I thought the movie will make me cry but apparently it didn't. It was weird seeing Mariah Carey without makeup~

3rd movie: Brothers
It was a very very very slow movie...managed to watch 20 minutes of this movie before changing to another one... but hopefully one day when I'm bored at home, I will finish watching this movie.

4th movie: Nine
A great musical! The set is just AMAZING and WONDERFUL! Not to mention the casts are just great! Too bad I fell asleep before the end of the show because I was too tired and it was already 2am...

More movies coming up soon~

No more Wisdom

...I'm glad this time there weren't fountain of blood...

Just came back from the dental surgery, extracting my last wisdom tooth from my mouth. Good thing is that now, I have no worries about any of my wisdom teeth as I had 2 top wisdom teeth plucked and 2 bottom wisdom teeth extracted.

Here comes the pain...but at least, there won't be any problems after this anymore.

No more Wisdom Teeth!

MIDE 2010

It's the Malaysia International Dive Expo 2010!

I went for my first expo last year before I was a diver...and at that time, it wasn't really interesting as I have yet to experience diving. This year was a blast! Though the layout of the expo was rather confusing at times (especially when you want to find the particular booth) but there were more booths from many different dive centres and operations this year.

...and I manage to bring this pass home...

My goal:
1. Power lens mask
2. Specialty Course information in Kota Kinabalu
3. EFR and Rescue Course information in Tioman Island

At the end of the day...

...I bought my TUSA 2.0 power mask...
(have yet to install the lens yet)

And also, I have decided on the courses and dive centre for my Specialty Courses in Kota Kinabalu in January 2011. It's time to finalize the schedule, to book my air tickets and plan for a 4 weeks holiday after the end of my contract this year end!

Also, I found a great package for EFR and Rescue Course in Tioman Island but the package is until end of this year only...so sadly, I have to say 'no' to the package but hope for a good deal after my Specialty Courses next year.

GOALS ACHIEVED!

...and I happily tried on my new mask at home...

Looking forward for MIDE 2011 for more great deals!
