St. Peter's Church Holiday Camp (Day 3)

Date: 30th November 2007

Third day of camp! I woke up at 6.45am and we woke the children up at 7.30am. Everyone was drained after the whole afternoon of Action Songs! It was raining heavily so there were no morning walk, just a round of 'I'm Alive, Alert, Awake' song and it was breakfast. Today, Valentine took over the whole morning until 4pm for the group activities, so, it was off for Tiff, Angel and I. We went to the girls' room and slept the whole morning through until 12.30pm for lunch.

During lunch, we went off for shower at my dad's shop nearby and had lunch. We packed some food back for the others and got back during their afternoon tea for the telematch.

4.00pm - Telematch!
We were 1/2 hour late so we could only play 2 games. First game, the Bombing Game! The groups had to come up with a 3 syllable name and the helpers formed a team against the children. We were known as the 'Rockmelon' team! The children were having fun and so do I...Second game, the Humongous Musical Chair! There were supposedly to be 6 sets of musical chair with a member of each group in it, but, due to time constrain, I had to cut short the game and we had to leave for shower at 5.30pm.

It was a quick dinner and straight for rosary recitation and mass. We went for the mass and after mass, the parents gathered in the AVA Room with the children for a closing ceremony. The children performed the 'Lulu Song' and 'With Christ In A Vessel' on stage. It was a great closing and they children packed for home.

We bid farewell and hope to see them again someday!!!
It was a great camp overall and I missed them so much...

GOD BLESS ALL!!!
