Before the movie marathon with mum, my cousins; Jessica and Jonathan, Uncle Gilbert, Aaron and I went for Bedtime Stories at Star. Considering it was a Sunday, I went and get the tickets earlier before the show.
It wasn't what I expected but it was a nice movie, especially BUGSY! ...so adorable with the weird looking bulging eyes. How I wish all the bedtime stories can come to live someway or another. Well, it was a good movie, funny and imaginative. I am never fond of Adam Sandler's movie, but hey who will not watch a movie like Bedtime Stories. Feels like a kid again after watching...
Now back to the movie marathon with mum. It was movie day (Wednesday), so mum decided to get a day off from all the cleaning, cooking at home and watch Australia. Coincidentally, her friend called that morning and asked whether mum wants free movie tickets, and coincidentally the free movie tickets were for Australia!!! Well, there were two sets of free movie tickets; The Beast Stalker and Australia.
After checking the time for both movies, we decided to go for both that afternoon. The Beast Stalker started at 2.15pm and Australia was right after at 4.15pm and both movies were in the same cinema.
At first I thought The Beast Stalker was something horror but it was Nicholas Tze's movie! Wah~ so long didn't watch his movies! It was all about cops and killers but at least this story was touching a bit lah~
...and next...
I so wanted to watch Australia since I saw the trailer online. It came out on Christmas but hadn't had the time to watch. Well, the title tells it all...it's about Australia. With Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, deng this movie is great! Love the storyline...and no wonder Aboriginal Studies in some Universities in Australia is very interesting. A little about Australia's history. It's worth watching!
The funny thing about the free movie ticket was that there must be people pay to watch the movie then the ticket is available for redemption. So, I walked up to the ticket counter like four times before finally getting the tickets; even the guy at the counter knows what movie before I showed him the tickets. Funny~
Well, movies ended at 7pm. Wah~ 5 hours straight in the cinema watching two movies with Mum! Should do that again someday...
