I never believed that Friday the 13th will bring us harm...but, some particular things happened today that made me believe of such curse.
The morning started as per usual; a drive to the office, delegated tasks to the girls, made several calls to confirm the shoot. Things were going on alright at first until...
It was lunchtime.
Five of us decided to have lunch at a kopitiam just a drive away from office. We found a seat in front of a fried rice stall. We ordered our lunch. Suddenly, there were thick smokes around us. It was coming from the fried rice stall. But, it was just the ordinary cooking smoke. We were complaining about it. In that split second, two stalls behind us caught fire. The fire spreaded. We sat stunned; thinking whether we should move away just in case the gas tank explode but we still continue sitting there, watching the fire. There were many attempts to put out the fire, but all else fail. Finally after some time, we decided to move further away but the fire got bigger. And then finally after some more time, we decided to pack our food and leave. After leaving the kopitiam, the fire truck arrived.
Then it was after lunchtime.
I sat in the office, looking through the reenactment list the director sent to me. It was tough but no matter what, we must pull it off. I started planning what to buy and how to make it work. The girls were no where to be seen for the past two hours. I was getting anxious. I called and my instincts were right all along...they were all in the supermarket buying production items! I raised my voice over the phone and another time when they got back at the office.
Then it was after dinnertime.
I got back home, wanting to start on my mission to create blood for the shoot. Then a phone call came. It was the profile for my shoot tomorrow. He gave me a heartattack. He had to leave for an emergency case and will only be back in the evening and his brother is schedule to fly back to Singapore on Sunday morning! Over the phone, I had to think of ways to make this shoot works. After talking to him for several minutes, I made a decision to continue the plan tomorrow and do the shoot in the evening until the next morning. Though there were some warnings of ghostly sightings that we might see in the graveyard area if we do so...but heck, he's there with us so we're good! *prays*
I shall not go any further.
It's time to end the day...and hopefully no more curses tonight!
Friday the 13th?
