It had been so many months ago since I last sent out my resume for a permanent TV production job and ever since I landed myself a 5 months freelancing job till June, I decided to stop searching and concentrate on this job.
It had been 2 months since I started on this documentary job. I sometimes enjoyed it very much but sometimes questioned myself lots when I am down. Did I make the right decision taking the job?
I decided to carry on with the job, trying to like it more and more each day, breezing through all the unnecessary problems that creeps out every single day, reading and looking through ghostly photographs and videos, planning for the tiring-long-distance-traveling shoots and lots more.
I had an email coming in for a job interview sometime in early February. I decided not to go for the interview. Another email came in again just a few days ago from the same company. After thinking through, I replied an 'okay'. So I went for the interview.
There wasn't an offer given to me on the spot but it seemed convincing that there will be an offer coming up but I still have another 3 months on the documentary project...how?
The whole afternoon, right after the interview, I paced myself in the office, up and down the stairs endless times, spoken to my fellow colleagues, seeking for advices and finally decided to talk to my boss. After rethinking through again, I made my decisions.
It was definitely a tough decision to make, but I hope I made the right choice...
